UWA Celebrates Our 175th Anniversary with
the Paragon Ragtime Band
Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 7:30 p.m.
The concert will pay homage
to the Livingston institution’s history with a montage
of campus photographs setting the stage for the
performance.
“We are pleased to partner with the Sumter County Fine Arts Council for a performance that will celebrate our 175th anniversary. The Orchestra’s mix of historic jazz, Americana, African, classical American, and roots music is a perfect fit in commemorating our university’s history,” said Dr. Tina N. Jones, 175th anniversary committee chair.
